Boyd County, Kentucky
Bluegrass Stream, LLC worked to restore 1,350 linear feet of headwater stream in Eastern Kentucky. The project consisted of relocating the channel and improving habitat by constructing pools, riffles, and installing large woody type structures such as log vanes, root wads, and other type structures. The project was funded by the The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife In-Lieu-Fee Program and administered by the Big Sandy RC&D. It was designed by Third Rock Consultants with the oversight of Bluegrass Stream. Construction was completed by Bluegrass Stream.
